1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Websites use cookies to keep your session, remember your preferences, keep the site secure, produce usage statistics and measure advertising. In this policy, technologies that serve a similar purpose, such as local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), are also referred to as “cookies”.

2. Which cookies does this site use?

The list below was prepared by measuring the live site. Each line gives the cookie name, the domain it is stored on and how long it stays in your browser. The “.susoftech.com” domain covers susoftech.com and our subdomains (for example the E-Com Assistant sign-up page at ecom-asistan.susoftech.com).

2.1. Strictly necessary cookies — no consent required

These are technically required for the site to work and cannot be turned off. Without them, form submission, security checks and remembering your preferences are not possible.

• susoftech_session · susoftech.com · until the browser is closed — Recognises your session while you submit forms and pass security checks. It cannot be read by scripts on the page.
• susoftech_consent · .susoftech.com · 12 months — Stores your choice from the cookie banner so you are not asked again on every visit or on our subdomains.
• susoftech_consent_v2 · .susoftech.com · 12 months — Marks that a previously saved preference was migrated once to the current format. It carries no other information.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — On pages with forms, tells apart automated/bot traffic from genuine submissions. Provided by Cloudflare, Inc.
• susoftech_sohbet_… · local storage · until you delete it — A conversation key created when you open the live chat box, so your conversation is not lost if you close the page and come back. It is not created if you do not open the chat.
• susoftech_selam_… · session storage · until the tab is closed — Remembers that you closed the chat greeting bubble, so it is not shown again during the same visit.

2.2. Analytics — only with your consent

Used to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

• Time-on-page measurement (our own infrastructure) — Runs only if you consent. A single duration value is sent when you leave the page; no identifier is left on your device.

No third-party analytics tool is currently used in this category.

Note: Our visitor and page-view counting uses no cookies and does not depend on consent; it leaves no trace on your device, and visitors are distinguished irreversibly with a key that changes daily.

2.3. Marketing cookies — only with your consent

These load only if you allow “Marketing” in the cookie banner. If you do not, the Google and Meta tools are not loaded at all and no requests are sent to these providers.

Purpose: to measure which of our ads bring site visits, WhatsApp conversations and trial sign-ups, and to show ads again to people who have visited our site. With your consent, the events measured are: page views, clicks on the WhatsApp button and moving on to the E-Com Assistant sign-up page. We do not add form contents or message text to these events; Google and Meta may process technical data such as browser and device information under their own policies.

Google Ads — Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC

• _gcl_au · .susoftech.com · 90 days — An identifier that recognises your browser to measure ad conversions.
• _gcl_aw, _gcl_gb · .susoftech.com · 90 days — Stores the click identifier when you arrive by clicking a Google ad. Not created if you did not come from an ad.
• GCL_AW_P · doubleclick.net · 90 days — A record of the ad click kept by Google on its own domain.

Meta Pixel — Meta Platforms Ireland Limited

• _fbp · .susoftech.com · 90 days — An identifier that recognises your browser for ad measurement and remarketing.
• _fbc · .susoftech.com · 90 days — Stores the click identifier when you arrive by clicking a Meta (Facebook, Instagram) ad. Not created if you did not come from an ad.

SUSOFTECH

• sus_kaynak · .susoftech.com · 90 days — Stores which ad or campaign brought you to the site: the gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid and utm_ values in the address, the first page you opened and the time. The E-Com Assistant sign-up form may store this information with your registration to measure which ad brought the sign-up. It is deleted when you withdraw marketing consent.

Store sign-up panel (panel.susoftechstore.com): When you continue to the sign-up panel via “Start Your Free Store” and you have given marketing consent, the ad source information (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid and utm_ values) is passed to the panel in the sign-up link and stored with your store registration; with your consent, this information may be reported to Google and Meta together with your IP address and browser information at sign-up, to measure which ad brought your registration. In the panel, Google Ads cookies are written only to the panel.susoftechstore.com domain; the Meta Pixel is not loaded in the panel.

Cookies on the providers’ own domains: Google and Meta may read and write cookies on their own domains (e.g. google.com, doubleclick.net, facebook.com), especially if you are signed in to your accounts with them. These cookies are governed by the providers’ policies: Google cookie policy · Meta cookie policy.

2.4. Embedded content

Google Maps and Instagram embeds do not load until you press the button. Once loaded, the provider may set its own cookies and process your IP address.

3. How can you manage your consent?

On your first visit you can accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies separately in the cookie banner. To change your decision later, use the “Cookie Preferences” link at the very bottom of the page. Not consenting does not affect the core functions of the site.

The cookie preference you give on susoftech.com also applies on panel.susoftechstore.com, where you continue your registration; your preference is carried to that address only through the sign-up link. You can change it in the panel too, using the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of the page.

When you withdraw marketing consent, Google’s and Meta’s use of advertising cookies is switched off and the sus_kaynak cookie is deleted; when pages are opened again these tools are not loaded at all. You can delete cookies already written by Google and Meta in your browser settings.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, features such as form submission may not work.

4. Transfers abroad

Google and Meta are providers whose infrastructure is located abroad. If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, the related data may be transferred abroad on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). If you do not consent, no such transfer takes place.

5. Changes

When the cookies we use change, this policy is updated and the date at the bottom of the page is renewed. When we add a new analytics or marketing tool, we ask for your consent again.
